Project Manager

Job Description

My client based in Cork are currently looking for a Project Manager for the Munster region, this is an excellent role within a growing company. The ideal candidate will come from an Electrical/Electrician background, will also look at experience in other similar areas (Energy, Civils, Mechanical etc)

I am looking for an enthusiastic, confident, and highly motivated individual with strong project management, planning, and scheduling skills who can work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and cost objectives.

Analyse and report on portfolio performance, including KPI monitoring, budget, cost control, risk management, client billing, cash flow, and rapid recovery implementation.

Improve efficiency through the implementation of business operating systems, especially in project management.

Manage project tasks from sales order to delivery, maintaining client relationships and effective planning, scheduling, and resourcing.

Actively pursue your career development plan.

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds a Level 8 Degree in Project Management or Energy/Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering (Preferred).

Has strong technical understanding of the electrical construction/utility industry.

Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.

Demonstrates strong commercial acumen and client relationship management.

Experienced in applying lean principles to work activities.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Ethical decision-making skills.

Familiar with project management tools.

Customer-oriented mindset.

Flexible to adapt to changes in project scope, schedules, and priorities.
