Project Manager – Nordic Region

Job Description

We have a strong Data Centre project pipeline over the next 5 years for the Nordic Region - predominantly Sweden & Finland.

We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong technical background and at least 5 years' of experience on large-scale construction or manufacturing projects.

Responsibilities:

* Management of secured projects.
* Assist with the Design and Co-ordination process between the client and contractors e.g. Architect, Consultant, Steel, and Cladding contractors
* Develop and manage a detailed project delivery schedule and work plan
* Ensure quality control procedures are implemented in-line with the manufacturers guidelines and liaise with the clients to ensure client user and operability is in-line with the product's intended use
* Client relationship management
* Liaise with senior management team
* Track project progress and costs rigorously and mitigate potential risks
* Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
* Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements
* Creating frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data collection
* Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications
* Preparing technical submittals following detailed project approval processes
* Completing health and safety documentation as required
* Assisting on site works such as snagging, pre commissioning and commissioning and ensuring all the associated paperwork is completed to the highest standard

Key Candidate Requirements:

* Third Level Engineering Qualification. Preferably Mechanical/Electrical or Building services.
* 5+ years of project management and related experience
* Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timelines
* Proven ability to solve problems creatively
* Excellent analytical skills
* Strong interpersonal skills

Key Knowledge:

* Microsoft Suite of products including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
* CAD
* BIM/ REVIT

Key Skills:

* Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
* Responsibility for follow-up on actions based on various team projects
* High organization and time management skills in managing multiple tasks simultaneously
* Ability to perform and manage technically complex projects using good judgment & initiative
* Build strong internal and external relationships using effective verbal and written communication skills
* Work independently without regular direct supervision
