Project Director

My client's team in Ireland is seeking a Project Director to lead engineering, project and construction teams. In this role, you'll handle a variety of projects, both large and small, for the high-tech and Life sciences industries, within a dedicated professional team. We are looking for seasoned managers with vast experience in Large EPC project delivery, the ability to coordinate both engineering and construction teams & individuals who have specific technical knowledge.

Explore your new duties:

* Oversee project performance comprehensively, encompassing EHS (Environment, Health & Safety), financials, timeliness, and quality for significant EPC projects.
* Serve as the highest point of escalation within the project towards clients, contractors, and the project team in the presence of company management.
* Foster and maintain effective communication and relationships with customers.
* Attend project sites and participate in customer management report meetings.
* Monitor and engage in identifying project risks and developing risk mitigation plans.
* Develop project strategies to achieve both external and internal project goals.
* Act as a visible, optimistic, and supportive role model for project team members, providing guidance and motivation.

Highlight your skills:

* A degree in engineering or a related field.
* Possession of PMI/PMP certification is advantageous.
* 15 years or more of extensive international experience in the design, construction and commissioning of large multidisciplinary projects, preferably in the semiconductors, batteries, Data centres, Life sciences or electronics field
* Good knowledge in the application of MS Office, PRIMAVERA P6 and/or MS Project.
* Strong communication, motivational and team leadership abilities.
* Broad technical understanding of CSA and MEP systems.
* Eligibility to work in Ireland/Europe without sponsorship
