Job Description

I'm currently seeking an enthusiastic Property Inspector to join my client in their City Centre branch. This role is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated and expert team with an extensive portfolio of residential properties!

Key Responsibilities:

* Communicate with tenants and update inspection schedules.
* Ensure properties meet minimum standards and fire safety requirements for rented residential accommodation.
* Coordinate with Property Managers regarding upcoming inspections and access requirements.
* Conduct thorough inspections of properties.
* Take photographs of landlord’s contents, fixtures, and fittings.
* Maintain detailed reports on inspections and actions required by the Property Manager.
* Document excessive wear and tear or damage and log details accordingly.
* Identify and report necessary maintenance matters or concerns to the Property Manager promptly.
* Adhere to company procedures and processes.

The Candidate:

* 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
* Full driver’s license is essential.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, and iPad applications.
* Great communicator.
* Ability to work independently and with attention to detail as well as part of a team.
