Senior Project Manager Supply Chain

Job Description

Our Client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Senior Project Manager to join their Supply Chain Development team. This exciting opportunity is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is eager to drive transformational change within the Supply Chain network. This role is hybrid and can be located out of the Cork or Dublin location

Key Responsibilities

* Strategic Leadership: Operate at a senior level within the Supply Chain Development team, forging partnerships across the Supply Chain network and wider business to achieve cost optimization and business growth.
* Project Management: Identify and initiate improvement projects across the Supply Chain, ensuring effective execution and alignment with strategic goals.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the Supply Chain at board level, presenting project outcomes and business cases with clarity and persuasion.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments to understand business needs and enhance the role of Supply Chains.
* Transport Network Design: Support strategic design and implementation of the transport network.
* Warehouse Operations: Assist in the design and layout of warehouses, including the fit-out of new facilities.
* Technology Integration: Research and identify advanced warehouse automation and transport technologies.
* Contract Management: Manage the tendering and contracting process for 3PL services.
* Operational Support: Enable and support operational teams on tactical improvement projects.
* Innovation and Thought Leadership: Stay updated on industry innovations and provide thought leadership to drive continuous improvement.
* Team Development: Lead and nurture a highly motivated professional team, fostering an environment of growth and development.

Experience, Skills, And Education

* 15+ years in transformational, strategic development roles within logistics, retail, or FMCG manufacturing.
* Successful delivery of multimillion €/£ projects.
* Experience in presenting to board members with strong communication, presentation, and influencing abilities.
* Preferably a Master's degree in a related discipline.
* Evidence of lean qualifications and continuous improvement skills.
* Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment with business objectives.
* Strong ability to work to structured deadlines and adhere to project management disciplines.
* Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company's Values & Guiding Principles and exhibits a drive for continuous professional and experiential learning.
* Industry Innovation: Awareness and knowledge of leading-edge industry innovations in Supply Chain.
