Logistics Project Manager

Sanderson have teamed up with a global logistics company to recruit a Logistics Project manager.

The successful candidate will lead a team of project specialist to support and manage projects related to expand the company’s Global Transportation Network, set up hubs and developing the Transportation Management Platform infrastructure.

The role involves collaborating with global teams and ensuring efficient logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

* Supervise a team of project specialists, ensuring daily tasks are delivered effectively.
* Manage shift schedules to cover regional and country hub requirements.
* Recruit and develop team members, fostering excellence and continuous learning.
* Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the growth and success of the Global Logistics Operations Center (G-LOC).
* Set up new hubs globally and enhance the transportation network.
* Oversee projects from requirements gathering to support handover.
* Establish a project management office (PMO) within G-LOC.
* Develop project plans, goals, budgets, and resource allocation.
* Perform strategic analysis and ensure timely project completion.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
* 8-12 years of experience in IT/Logistics Project Management
* Familiarity with industry leading logistics providers
* Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across global teams.
