Dublin based / Onsite

With a reputation for delivering engineering excellence, innovative processes, sustainability, our Capital Projects Managed Services team specialises in delivering bespoke solutions across the pharmaceutical sector.

Now partnering with a global pharmaceutical client and with the responsibility for driving and delivering capital projects effectively and efficiently, we are looking to hire a site-based Project Manager to support our growing team.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

* Primary point of contact responsible for the day-to-day oversight of all aspects of project execution.
* Take initiative to drive complex projects and responsible for generation and management of project execution plan.
* Ability to lead a team of technical design engineers and manage various vendor engineering contractors on site.
* Strong project / program management skills with experience using process improvement and/or project management methodologies.
* Responsible for communications with client / customer on project performance re scope, cost & schedule – weekly project slides and / or regular meetings (with minutes) where agreed.
* Accountable for all design deliverables during (P&ID’s, design drawings, scopes of work) and at project handover.
* Proven expertise in working with MS Office Tools particularly PowerPoint and Excel
* Extremely strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of management.
* Ability to work with ambiguity, self-driven, attention to detail and plan/ execute for the future.
* Strategic thinker with experience in Project Management.
* Quick to adapt - able to accelerate learning curve for new issues and project changes
* High degree of comfort working with multiple stakeholders

Qualifications & Requirements

* Applicants will need experience working on substantial pharmaceutical type projects and be comfortable managing complex projects.
* Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in delivery of project / program management experience or equivalent.
* Degree qualification within a relevant engineering / project management field
* Experience of successful delivery of complex and ambitious projects from a perspective to time, cost, and quality objectives.
