BIM Coordinator Skills

* Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Professional certification in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) is preferred.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in BIM coordination or a similar role.
* Proven experience with BIM software and tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD).
* Strong understanding of BIM processes and standards.
* Excellent coordination and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
* Proficiency in 3D modeling and design review software.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Irish construction experience

As a BIM Coordinator

* Develop and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and procedures.
* Manage the creation, maintenance, and distribution of BIM models.
* Ensure compliance with project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs)
* Facilitate coordination meetings and workshops to resolve design conflicts
* Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors
* Serve as the primary point of contact for BIM-related queries.
* Assist in the creation and review of detailed 3D models.
* Ensure that models adhere to the project's specifications and requirements.
* Generate and manage construction documents, including clash detection reports and quantity take-offs.
* Provide BIM training and support to project teams.
* Conduct regular training sessions to keep staff updated on BIM tools and techniques.
* Develop and maintain a knowledge base of BIM best practices
* Utilise BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other relevant tools.
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in BIM technology and recommend new tools as needed.
* Ensure proper use and integration of BIM software across all project phases.
* Conduct regular quality checks on BIM models to ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of modeling.
* Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the BIM models.
* Prepare and present BIM progress reports to stakeholders.
* Document and track BIM-related issues and changes.
* Maintain accurate records of BIM activities and decisions.

The Package

Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least of €60,0000+, plus package.
