Construction Project Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee medium to large-scale commercial solar panel installation projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of solar energy systems.

Key Responsibilities:

* Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets. Ensure alignment with client expectations and regulatory requirements.

* Team Management: Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors. Provide direction, support, and mentorship to ensure project success.

* Resource Allocation: Coordinate and allocate resources efficiently to meet project demands. Monitor resource utilisation and adjust as necessary to maintain project schedules.

* Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.

* Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines, budgets, or quality.

* Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

* Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and control costs. Review and approve invoices, change orders, and project expenditures.

* Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, schedules, and reports. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
