About Your New Job

The Commercial Construction Manager will oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves close collaboration with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to drive project success.

What Skills You Need

* Lead the planning, execution, and completion of commercial construction projects from inception to handover.
* Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective procurement and resource allocation.
* Oversee contract negotiations, administration, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
* Manage and mentor project teams, including site managers, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project goals.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
* Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
* Ensure all work meets or exceeds company standards and industry regulations.
* Prepare regular project status reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
* A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial construction management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and MS Office Suite.
* In-depth understanding of Irish building regulations, health and safety standards, and commercial construction practices.
