Infrastructure Project Manager

Our client, a leading firm, is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee server upgrades network security upgrades and data centre enhancements. This contract role is based in Dublin and will focus on enhancing the IT infrastructure to support business operations. This is a hybrid 3 days on site 2 days from home contract role.

Job Responsibilities:

* Lead projects focused on server upgrades and data centre improvements.
* Coordinate with IT teams and vendors to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
* Manage project scope, timelines, and resources effectively.
* Ensure compliance with technical and safety standards during project execution.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
* Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders.
* Facilitate smooth communication across multiple teams and departments.
* Drive continuous improvement by evaluating project successes and areas of enhancement.

Experience Required:

* Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management, particularly with Infrastructure ( Applications/ Servers and DataCentres etc).
* You must have a good level of awareness of system knowledge, Windows / Unix / Networking / Databases etc, also a good awareness of the application of the SDLC as it applies to app development
* Proven track record of managing infrastructure upgrades or related projects.

Desirable Skills:

* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Educational Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* PM Certification
