Project Manager

Project Manager - Ireland (Offices in Dublin and Cork/ Projects nation-wide) - Hybrid - PV Commercial Rooftop Projects

My client is one of the biggest residential PV installers in Ireland, and they are moving into rooftop commercial PV projects this year and are looking for a new Project Manager to head this up for them! They have new projects ranging between 100kv-1MW upcoming which is exciting as they want to continue to grow out this space in their business. They also specialize in installing EV Chargers, Heat Pumps, and Boilers.

Responsibilities:

* Define the project's requirements needed
* Visiting the various sites and preparing quotations to establish the budget
* Management of the installer and field technician teams on site
* Coordinate the design of plans based on defined specifications
* Participate in the procurement process in coordination with the procurement department
* Prepare quotations to establish the budget with EPC executive and define the timelines for each phase of the projects
* Prepare progress reports for project reviews and control the schedule of subcontractor interventions
* Supervise the construction work carried out by the team and contractors

Requirements:

* 3+ years of experience in construction project management;
* Engineering degree is ideal (Electrical engineering background or Civil engineering or Mechanical engineering background)
* Background in commercial solar projects, ground mounted or rooftop
* In-depth knowledge of industrial project construction or the energy sector in Ireland
* In-depth knowledge of hygiene and safety regulations
* Willingness to travel to the different sites when needed around Ireland
* Driver's license
* Strong interpersonal and management skills
