Job Summary:

Our Client, a Canadian IT Consultancy company are seeking to recruit an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join their Dublin team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within our Data Management, Custom Software Development, and ERP Business Applications service lines. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and consultants, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

* Project Planning & Initiation:
* Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
* Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
* Identify and allocate resources required for project execution.
* Project Execution:
* Lead and manage project teams, ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
* Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
* Implement project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
* Stakeholder Management:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
* Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
* Facilitate regular status meetings and provide comprehensive project updates.
* Risk Management:
* Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Monitor project risks and issues and take corrective actions as required.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Project Closure:
* Conduct project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement.
* Ensure proper documentation and handover of project deliverables.
* Close out projects and obtain formal client acceptance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
* PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification preferred.
* Experience:
* 5+ years of experience in project management within IT, preferably in Data Management, Custom Software Development, or ERP implementations.
* Proven track record of managing multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
* Technical Skills:
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
* Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello, or similar.
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, SAP or any similar ERP
