Project Manager - Cork or Dublin (Hybrid Role)
12 month contract
The Cutover Project Manager will be reporting directly to a Global External Operations Leadership member, the Director of Supply Chain Operations, and will serve as an integral role for Global External Operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Will support and manage the GEO Project Ignite Readiness. The Project Manager will work closely with the project lead to ensure the project meets the defined objectives.
Specifically, under the remit of the Planning Operations Lead will be:
Develop Operational Readiness Plan for Global External Operations Site per Project Ignite
* Support the planning, readiness, and execution for GEO site Project Ignite Implementation.
Support business leaders in the visibility and alignment between GEO & Project Ignite Team.
* Support the Project Ignite site lead in the development of detailed plans for each relevant function.
* Partner as required with global change management team to foster employee adoption.
* Co-ordinate and communicate activities across the GEO site as required by Project Ignite Site Lead.
Execute Change Deliverables per Project Ignite Milestones
Project communication for multiple audiences; executives, project team, business users, etc.
• Manage project team, including project charter, resource allocation, timeline, and deliverables.
• Identify critical issues and risks with appropriate mitigations and communicate regularly, escalate if needed.
• Maintain documented project schedule and scope to meet program objectives.
• Facilitate meetings to gather requirements, define business process and other topics necessary for the successful completion of the project.
EDUCATION
1. Required Education: Bachelors in Life Science, Business, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering required.
2. Preferred Education: APICS certification and/or supply chain education preferred but not required.
3. Other continuing education initiatives highly desirable (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, industry specific coursework).
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
1. Minimum of 10 years of experience in Project Management
2. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and partner with other functional groups to achieve business objectives required.
3. Skillful application of KPI’s and metrics to manage business processes and support strong team performance.
4. Excellent communication skills – Oral, written and formal presentation skills with senior management, middle management and line staff.
5. Proficient and comfortable working indirectly through others.

Preferred Experience:
1. Direct experience with planning and scheduling projects
2. Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems and processes (Knowledge of SAP is preferred)
