Job Description:

As a Contracts Manager at BHA, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of our construction projects.. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Delivery:

* Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
* Develop and implement project strategies, plans, and schedules.
* Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks.
* Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards across all sites.

Team Leadership:

* Lead and manage project managers, site managers, and other key personnel across multiple sites.
* Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
* Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to project teams to enhance their skills and performance.

Stakeholder Management:

* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
* Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
* Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.

Budget & Cost Control:

* Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
* Monitor and control project costs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
* Approve and oversee project-related expenditures, ensuring alignment with financial plans.

Quality Assurance:

* Ensure that all projects meet the company’s quality standards and client specifications.
* Implement and monitor quality control processes across all sites.
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is carried out to the highest standards.

Reporting & Documentation:

* Prepare and present regular project reports to the Operations Director and senior management.
* Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and financial records.
* Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, RICS) is a plus.

Experience:

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple sites.
* Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.

Skills & Competencies:

* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
* Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
