Established in 2001, Select Roofing Ltd. has rapidly grown to be one of the leading roofing companies in Ireland. Founded by John Kinsella, the company offers a wide range of services to both the commercial and domestic markets. In addition to roofing solutions, Select Roofing also houses a fall arrest and height safety division, as well as a lightning protection division. Reporting to the Directors, the project manager will oversee & manage projects from inception to completion. The role requires a strong leader who can coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure all project requirements, timelines, and budgets are met. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction management, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities of Role
* Leading & supporting project teams through complex and significant projects.
* Maintain a proactive approach to project planning and execution, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
* Provide clear objectives to project team members, including subcontractors.
* Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal staff to ensure effective communication and successful project delivery, providing regular status updates.
* Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all financial aspects are tracked and controlled.
* Manage and allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements.
* Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
* Prepare and present regular reports on project status, performance metrics, and financial aspects to senior management.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in project management.
* Proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish.
* Demonstrates decisiveness and good judgement, with effective problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is desirable.
