Our client is part of a European private equity owned leader in robotic automation, providing packaging, pick & place, handling, filling and sealing solutions to some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical and food companies.Their value proposition is that they enable increased efficiency and competitiveness to their client’s businesses. Based in the Southeast of Ireland ,they serve a local and also a growing international base.

Opportunity:

As the Project Manager, reporting directly to the Technical Director, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of automation solutions and full-line projects, from the moment a customer signs an order to the installation of the solution at their facility. Your responsibilities will encompass managing all aspects of the project, including fabrication, construction, programming, electrical wiring, and commissioning. Additionally, you will maintain professional relationships with customers, keeping them informed on project progress, gathering their requests, and ensuring commercial awareness.

Responsibilities:

* Project managing complex projects & installation in different regions of the country. or abroad and develop progress / final reports internally and for customers.
* Project Managing of design, fabrication, build, electrical wiring and software teams. to deliver solutions on time and on budget.
* Obtain customer feedback proactively throughout the project timeline, address. customer enquiries and resolve issues (for example changes to the design).
* Scheduling periodically client meetings - status calls and schedule, participate and attend Kick Off Meetings.
* Project Managing the FAT & SAT for the solutions, ensuring 100% compliance to User Requirements.
* Make sure all documentation for solutions is correct according to specification.
* Demonstrate outstanding customer service through maintaining high quality work environment.
* Make sure correct hours are followed and correctly logged onto the ERP system.
* Manage budgets to prevent overruns.
* Develop and manage Project Plans for example leading GANTT process.
* Manage the supply and delivery of customer samples required for testing purposes.
* Managing action tracker.

Candidate Requirements:

* Be able to work in Ireland without sponsorship.
* Five or more years in the Pharma and Food Industry would be preferential and experience in the automation and machine building industry with technical systems installations is an advantage.
* Experience of using an ERP system for planning and reporting.
* Strong project management skills with commercial awareness.
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally with notice.
* Customer/Client relationship management experience. Demonstrated success in driving customer satisfaction and quality.
* Experience of project managing complex projects.
* Adaptability and flexibility.
* Ability to think strategically and practically.
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred but not essential.
* Certificate of training in project management or similar.
* Experience in lean management is an added advantage.

Remuneration:
