Be at the forefront of expanding and shaping Camunda’s next generation of integration and automation capabilities. In this role, you will not only lead the evolution of Camunda’s Connector ecosystem, driving adoption and expanding coverage across enterprise systemsbut also take ownership of our newly launched Robotic Process Automation (RPA) capabilities.

Camunda RPA enables organizations to integrate legacy systems and tools that lack APIs into modern end-to-end processes. Built on the open-source Robot Framework, this extensible approach to RPA ensures that bots can seamlessly complement broader orchestration efforts, allowing teams to automate with flexibility today, while evolving toward scalable and maintainable architectures over time.

This is a hands-on, highly technical product role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working directly with engineering and platform teams. You’ll help define and deliver the tools developers and automation experts need to build, deploy, and manage both connectors and bots across a wide range of technologies.

What you'll be doing:

Lead the product strategy and roadmap for Camunda’s Connectors and RPA capabilities, ensuring they deliver real value to technical users integrating across diverse enterprise systems.Collaborate closely with engineering to build scalable, developer-friendly runtime infrastructure for connectors and bots.Expand the connector and bot ecosystem by enabling partner and community contributions, and identifying key integration priorities across industries.Balance short-term delivery with long-term evolution, moving customers from legacy automation (RPA) to orchestrated, API-first approaches.Support cross-functional Go-To-Market alignment and internal readiness, especially with technical sales, customer success, and partner teams.

What you bring:

Experience working on platform products (SaaS and/or on-prem) used by IT departments (e.g., developers, automation engineers, ops teams).Previous ownership of integration-related tools (RPA, APIs, middleware, ETL, iPaaS, etc.) or automation frameworks.Understanding of the RPA landscape, especially with frameworks like Robot Framework or tools like UIPath/Automation AnywhereAbility and/or willingness to use our product.

Nice-to-haves:

Experience managing products used by IT departments (e.g., Software Developers, Operations).Experience working with platform products available both as SaaS and on-premises.

For external hires, we consider the skills and experience of the incoming candidate, but typically place candidates in the first half of the range to ensure ample room for growth over the entire lifecycle of the role.

Below is the annual Total Target Cash Compensation (Total Cash) range for Camundi located in one of our entities. Total Cash refers to base salary and 100% attainment of variable target, where applicable. Actual Total Cash offered will depend on factors such as skills and qualifications related to the role. To comprise the Total Rewards package, Camunda also offers equity (where applicable) in the form of a Virtual Employee Stock Option Plan and benefits based on the country of residence.

The annual Total Cash range for this position for Camundi in our entities is as follows:

United States: $131,200.00 to $196,800.00 Germany: €87,300.00 to €130,900.00United Kingdom: £85,000.00 to £127,500.00Singapore: S$162,900.00 to S$244,400.00
