Project Manager

Avant Money are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a transformative change programme, the role is responsible for executing a comprehensive business roadmap, which includes the rollout of new banking systems, products, and digital assets aimed at enhancing the customer experience. The role is central in driving the business forward, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives, also adhering to Avant Money quality standards, governance frameworks and or applicable external regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead transformation programme, overseeing multiple projects and initiatives that focus on new banking systems, launching new products, and integrating digital assets for customers.Develop and execute a clear, actionable roadmap to ensure successful delivery of the project objectives. Ensuring all initiatives contribute to long-term business growth and operational efficiency.Lead end-to-end project management activities, including planning, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, and budgeting, to ensure successful delivery. Drive coordination and collaboration across business, technology, and operational teams, ensuring a unified approach to project delivery.Establish clear milestones, performance metrics, and key deliverables within the project.Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and issues to ensure they are mitigated or resolved in a timely manner.Engage with senior leadership and key stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business priorities.Regularly report on progress, risks, and issues, ensuring transparency and accountability across the organization.Manage relationships with external vendors and partners involved in the project, ensuring that their deliverables align with the overall goals.Lead the project team, ensuring that all project members are clear on objectives, timelines, and individual responsibilities.Cultivate a collaborative and high-performance team culture that fosters creativity and problem-solving.Ensure effective change management practices are in place to drive organizational acceptance of new systems, processes, and products.Support business readiness, supporting implement training, communication, and support strategies to facilitate smooth transitions during the transformation.Monitor and evaluate the success of the change initiatives, ensuring they meet business goals and deliver the expected benefits.Drive the adoption of best practices in project management. Lead knowledge transfer and project post-mortem for lessons learned and improving best practices.
About you:
A proven track record of leading projects within the financial services sector, ideally with experience in banking systems, digital products, and customer-centric initiatives.Good understanding and experience with project management methodologies and tools. PMP, Prince2, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.Proven ability to manage complex organizational change, including the adoption of new systems and processes across diverse teams.Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to manage relationships at all levels, including executives, business units, and external partners.Knowledge of the financial services industry, including banking operations, digital asset management, and regulatory requirements, desirable. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and propose innovative solutions.Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams, set clear expectations, and drive results.A track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
