Daily Rate: Circa 550-600
About the Role:Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Business Project Manager for an exciting 9-month daily rate contract. This is a hands-on delivery-focused role requiring a strong blend of technical knowledge, business process understanding, and project management expertise. You will be responsible for leading and delivering cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, liaising with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:Lead the delivery of complex projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budget.Act as a bridge between IT and business units, translating technical requirements into business outcomes and vice versa.Own project planning, resource management, risk/issue tracking, and stakeholder communication.Work with developers, solution architects, business analysts, and testers to ensure successful implementation.Coordinate multiple workstreams across functional and technical areas.Manage third-party vendors and ensure deliverables are met.Conduct regular project reporting and status updates to senior leadership.Support change management and user adoption across the business.
Required Experience & Skills:5+ years of Project Management experience, ideally within technical or digital transformation projects.Strong understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycles, and infrastructure.Experience delivering in both Agile and Waterfall environments.Proven ability to work closely with technical teams (e.g., developers, QA, DevOps).Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including C-level reporting.Hands-on approach – must be comfortable diving into the detail and leading from the front.Previous experience working with cross-functional teams and complex system integrations.Ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and vendor relationships.
Desirable:Background in software delivery, systems implementation, or infrastructure projects.PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are a plus.Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar.
