Project Manager / Project Engineer

Overview:This is an excellent career opportunity for an ambitious Project Manager or Project Engineer with proven project delivery experience to join a leading designer and producer of robotic & packaging solutions, which supplies high-performance robotic automations to Pharma, Life Science & Food markets across an increasingly growing international customer base. Within this project delivery role, reporting to the Head of Production & Project Management, you’ll lead the project delivery activity of the building & commissioning of automation solutions and full lines projects, from the customers signing an order to installing the solution at their plant. You will be responsible for the project that includes fabrication, building, programming, electric wiring and commissioning. Part of the role will include professional relationships with customers, updating them on projects and collating requests, while maintaining commercial awareness. Growing this division of the business is a strategic goal; therefore, this role will provide a lot of visibility and opportunities in the coming years.
Responsibilities will include: Reporting to the Head of Production & Project ManagementOwning assigned Projects to SAT.Owning Project ScopeOwning Project ScheduleOwning Project BudgetManaging complex projects & installation in different regions of the country or abroad, and develop progress / final reports internally and for customersManaging design, fabrication, build, electrical wiring and software teams to deliver solutions on time and on budget.Obtain customer feedback proactively throughout the project timeline, address customer enquiries and resolve issuesManaging clients’ expectations Scheduling periodically client meetings - status callsManaging the FAT & SAT for the solutions, ensuring 100% compliance to User RequirementsEnsuring all documentation for solutions is correct according to specification.Demonstrate outstanding customer service through maintaining high quality work environment.Manage the supply and delivery of customer samples required for testing purposes
Essential Requirements:Skills / Experience:Three or more years in project delivery roles - e.g. Project Engineer or Project Manager. Three or more years of project delivery experience on projects with manufacturing equipment - i.e. Primary, secondary and/or tertiary packaging equipment etc. Experience of project managing complex projects - i.e. Multiple work packages, Design, Mech, Elect, Software etc.Customer/Client/Stakeholder relationship management experience. Demonstrated success in driving Customer/Client/Stakeholder satisfaction and quality.Proficient in communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing.Accepts ownership, is accountable and delivers on commitments.Experience prioritising and managing multiple tasks/issues simultaneously, detail oriented.Influencing and negotiating skills when dealing with clientsEvidence of strong project delivery skills with commercial awarenessFlexibility and resilience, including ability to adapt to changing/uncertain conditions.Ability to travel domestically and internationally with notice.Experience of using an ERP system for planning and reporting.Trouble shooting skillsEducation:Degree in Engineering
Preferred Requirements:Skills / Experience:Five or more years in the Pharma and Food Industry would be preferential and experience in the automation and machine building industry with technical systems installations is an advantage tooExperience in Pharma Validation requirements - URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ, FDS, RTM etc.Education:Certificate of training in project management - e.g. PMP, Agile, etc.
