Senior Project Manager – Solar Energy (100% Remote)

Remote People is thrilled to partner with a leading multinational solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS) Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Company (EPC) to find an exceptional Senior Project Manager.
Our client is at the forefront of the renewable energy revolution, with existing projects across Poland, Germany, Latvia, Sweden, and the Czech Republic. They’re expanding their operations and opening new projects throughout 2025.
As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll oversee utility-scale solar projects ranging from 10MW to 100MW. This is a permanent, full-time position offering 100% remote work with monthly business trips to project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive project plans, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverablesCoordinate between clients, on-site teams, and internal departmentsOversee project financials and negotiate contractsImplement risk management strategies and ensure compliance with safety regulationsMaintain quality control and develop site-specific quality management plansFoster strong relationships with stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture10+ years of project management experience in solar EPC, energy storage, or related fields5+ years of field construction management experienceStrong leadership and communication skillsExpert understanding of utility-scale PV plant constructionProficiency in project management control systems
Additional Details:
Location: 100% remote (candidate can be based anywhere)Travel: Monthly trips to project sites; bi-annual visits to Krakow headquartersAll travel costs covered by the companyProject locations: Poland, Germany, Latvia, Sweden, Czech RepublicFlexible Type of Contract: Open to B2B collaboration or standard employment contractSalary: Around €6,000 gross monthly
