About the Opportunity
Under the authority of the EPC Portfolio Manager, the EPC Project Manager is responsible for all people and activities on a construction site from the study phase to the handover with Operations & Maintenance, ensuring adherence to deadlines. The Project Manager determines technical processes, working conditions, budget, and schedule of works in the investment committee from the EPC side.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the feasibility assessment of the project in coordination with the sales team.
- Define the project's requirements (equipment, personnel).
- Conduct site visits and prepare quotations to establish the budget.
- Identify technical specifications for RFQ and contracts in coordination with the engineering department.
- Coordinate the design of plans based on defined specifications.
- Participate in the procurement process in coordination with the procurement department.
- Initiate purchase requests while adhering to established procedures and contribute to the assembly and argumentation of investment requests.
- Define the timelines for each phase of the projects.
- Prepare quotations to establish the budget with EPC executive.
- Prioritize interventions based on various criteria.
- Monitor and ensure work is following technical and contractual specifications, standards, regulations, and QHSE rules.
- Prepare progress reports for project reviews and ensure adherence to the execution schedule.
- Update the project schedule (using MS Project) with the progress status of different project phases.
- Monitor the project budget using cost control tools to evaluate deviation, propose remedial plans, and ensure financial targets.
- Control the schedule of subcontractor interventions and ensure compliance with safety instructions.
- Adjust resources to meet deadlines and cost targets.
- Supervise and ensure the conformity of construction work carried out by the team or external service providers.
- Ensure safety on construction sites with support from the HSE department.
About You
You should have strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience in EPC projects and knowledge of construction processes are essential for this role.
Eligibility
A degree in Engineering or related field is required. PMP certification is a plus.
