About the Opportunity

Teagasc - the Agriculture and Food Development Authority - is the national body providing integrated research, advisory, and training services to the agriculture and food industry and rural communities. Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the implementation of various EIP work packages
• Project manage the OTV-IWM EIP project
• Coordinate project tasks and timelines across multiple farms and stakeholders
• Engage with farmers, machinery companies, researchers, and the OG
• Coordinate the development of a machinery sharing model
• Collect and analyze farm-level data
• Coordinate KT events, workshops, and field demonstrations

About You

Qualifications:
A Level 8 Degree in Agricultural Science or equivalent

Desirable:
Relevant post-graduate qualification (Masters or PhD)

Knowledge/Skills:

• Experience in tillage and field scale vegetable crop agronomy
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality work within specified deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Eligibility

Candidates must satisfy legal requirements to drive a car unaccompanied on Irish public roads during employment with Teagasc.
