Our client is a leading multi-disciplinary project and cost management consultancy based in South Dublin. They partner with blue-chip clients, private developers, and public bodies to deliver complex, high-value capital projects from feasibility through to handover. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Irish contract law, strong commercial acumen, and a proven track record of delivering projects successfully on time and budget within a consultancy setting.
Education: A Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Architecture is essential.
Professional Status (Essential): Chartered status (e.g., MRICS, PMP, Chartered Engineer) is highly desirable for this senior role.
Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 3 years operating at a Senior or Lead PM level, preferably within a professional consultancy or client-side environment.
Contractual Expertise: Demonstrable proficiency and experience administering standard Irish construction contracts (GCCC/RIAI).
Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the South Dublin/Leinster construction market, regulatory environment, and planning processes.
Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in project scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and project management platforms.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and possesses exceptional organizational and communication skills. You must be proactive in identifying and mitigating project risks and comfortable presenting complex data and strategic recommendations to executive-level clients.
