About the Opportunity

Our client’s manufacturing site is undergoing major investment and innovation, supported by capital projects, R&D initiatives, and transformation programs, with backing from IDA grants and R&D tax credits. To support this, a dedicated team is being built to ensure investments are effectively managed, documented, and compliant with funding and regulatory requirements. The Investment & Operations Specialist will provide day-to-day support, working cross-functionally to ensure investment activities are efficient, transparent, and aligned with expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate planning, tracking, and documentation of investment activities across capital, R&D, and innovation projects, ensuring clear visibility of progress, spend, and milestones.
  • Maintain accurate records of invoices, purchase orders, expenditure, and spend categorisation, and support preparation of regular spend reports.
  • Track resource utilisation, including internal labour and contractors, maintaining logs that support funding applications and internal reporting.
  • Prepare and maintain audit-ready documentation for IDA grant drawdowns, ensuring alignment with approved scopes, milestones, and funding conditions.
  • Coordinate the collation of materials for R&D tax credit submissions, working with cross-functional SMEs to ensure compliance and readiness for audit.
  • Support governance and stakeholder communication through maintaining templates, trackers, meeting materials, reports, and continuous improvement of investment-related processes.

About You

Key Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in coordination, administration, operations, or process support roles.
  • Experience within a biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of documentation and records accurately.
  • Experience working with invoices, purchase orders, and basic spend or activity tracking.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort using enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach, with desirable experience in regulated environments, investment or R&D activities, grants administration, or reporting tools.
