Job Description: Community Engagement Project Coordinator

Location: Dublin, Ireland

VOLIES is looking for a community engagement project coordinator in Dublin. We are looking for a candidate who will work full time to support the community engagement programme of a global tech company.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main local point of contact for in-person activities and providing support to implement the client's local plan.
  • Support the development of strong relationships with external partners, local communities, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and support the delivery of community events, events and workshops, motivating employee participation and engagement.
  • Manage all key administrative tasks for event delivery including liaising with multiple project vendors, vendor on-boarding, budget tracking, organising payment of invoices.
  • Attendance at community affairs events to represent the Program and client.
  • Maintain relationships with key community stakeholders, including community members and nonprofit organizations.
  • Plan and implement community-based programs in line with established standards and project objectives.
  • Use various communication channels (newsletters, social media, blogs, internal emails) to promote employee involvement in community engagement activities, in line with client requirements.
  • Measure and report on program outcomes and community impact by collecting key metrics and feedback from community organisations.
  • Manage community feedback processes and ensure concerns are addressed appropriately.
  • Travel around Dublin, Leinster and the surrounding area will be required.

About You

Basic qualifications

  • Located in Dublin, Ireland
  • Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license, have access to a car and the ability to frequently travel to offsite events and project locations
  • University degree (bachelor's and/or Master’s) in Marketing and Events, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in community engagement, social impact projects, corporate marketing, events management
  • Previous experience working with non-profit organizations and/or CSR or corporate volunteering programs
  • Experience with event planning and coordination
  • Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred qualifications

  • Knowledge of local community dynamics and resources
  • Familiarity with data collection and analysis tools
  • Background in project management or program development
