About the Opportunity
The Project Coordinator (Electrical) contributes to the overall success of CR Meyer and its heavy industrial customers through supporting the project team during the planning, budgeting, construction, and post-construction project phases. This is a 100% traveling position, responsible for Electrical project management support at sites throughout the United States.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and project team in estimating and executing electrical construction projects.
- Assist in preparing bids for customers using general knowledge of electrical construction principles and design specifications.
- Implement the CR Meyer Risk Control Plan for all projects and maintain a safe job site.
- Prepare budgets, schedules, POs, and track project-related expenses.
- Maintain subcontract and vendor information.
- Coordinate the movement of equipment, tools, supplies, and resources needed for the job.
- Track and document electrical productivity factors.
- Communicate effectively with the project team and act as a back-up to the Project Manager.
- Participate in site visits, updates, and communications with stakeholders to ensure project compliance.
About You
- Previous experience in the electrical construction industry required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Projects, and Primavera required.
- Ability to complete all CR Meyer training and certifications within safety guidelines.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
