MEP Project Director

About the Opportunity

Role based in Norway or Finland - Rotation plan available. Fohntech Group is seeking an experienced MEP Project Director for a client in Norway. The role involves overseeing the end-to-end delivery of all MEP systems on hyperscale data centre projects, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, programme, and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEP delivery throughout design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover
• Manage contractors, consultants, and vendors
• Oversee critical systems such as power, cooling, and BMS/DCIM
• Ensure compliance with Nordic regulations and Tier III/IV standards
• Drive programme, cost, and risk management
• Lead commissioning and client handover

About You

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services Engineering
• 5+ years of MEP experience on large-scale projects
• Strong data centre or mission-critical experience
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills

Desirable:

• Hyperscale client experience
• Nordic project experience
• LEED/BREEAM knowledge
