About the Opportunity

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for the delivery of the development from mobilization to completion.
  • Agree commencement date, and arrange for completion of the contract documents.
  • Ensure that all aspects of quality, the Environment and progress are in accordance with the contracted requirements.
  • Assist in the selection and vetting of major S/Cs and suppliers (including HSEQS vetting).
  • Manage employee resources, including cover for site when staff are on annual leave or training.

About You

Qualifications & Experience:

15 years’ experience in construction with similar contracting organizations
In-depth understanding of the market in Ireland, which the company operates, including an awareness of competitors and new initiatives
Proven finance control/reporting ability
Working knowledge of Construction techniques and Design and Build projects

Skills & Attributes:

  • The ability to work as part of cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communicator, with ability to convey complex information well.
  • Highly organized in relation to management of tasks and deadlines.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Eligibility

All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK and in the Republic of Ireland at the time of application. Proof of this will be required for any candidate who is successful in the role. This role will, at times, require working in other locations, including construction sites or at client offices. A degree of flexibility is therefore required.
