The Business Development Coordinator at Kerten Hospitality will drive growth, revenue, and profitability in Europe, North Africa and other countries. They will leverage their expertise in the hospitality & real estate market to provide personalised service, identify new business opportunities, and maintain a client-centric approach. Responsibilities include researching and implementing initiatives, pursuing leads, developing new business, and managing market intelligence and project feasibility. You will collaborate closely with the BD director and property managers, crafting project pitches, offers, and contracts. This role demands innovative thinking, trend identification, and strategic revenue growth initiatives, alongside building connections with corporate accounts and challenging the status quo.
JOB DESCRIPTION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage Business Development activities to identify and pursue new business opportunities.Lead the process of pitching proposals, finalising management and franchising agreement contracts.Identify and target high-end and high-value customers through market research, customer data analysis, and industry networking.Execute strategies to positively reinforce Kerten Hospitality’s brand image.Monitor and analyse market trends and competitor activity.Conducting thorough financial feasibility assessments to support strategic planning.
CONNECTIONEngage with external stakeholders, such as consultants or industry experts, to enhance the quality of proposals and business development strategies.Develop a network of network of hotel owners, investors and developers.Collaborate with team members to create bespoke speeches for each project.
INNOVATIONParticipate in relevant community events and activities to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and potential clients and partners.Conduct market research to identify trends and expansion opportunities in the assigned regions.
CURATIONUtilise the current Kerten Hospitality database, networking, B2B opportunities, and exhibitions to identify and pursue new business opportunities.Develop and execute strategies, partnerships and alliances for business growth and expansion. Build and foster relationships with the current Kerten Hospitality community, key individuals, governmental organisations, and existing owners.
LEADING THE WAYPromote and increase the visibility of Kerten Hospitality brands, including but not limited to: The House Hotel and Residences, Cloud 7 Hotel and Residence, Ouspace, Nakhati, and upcoming company brands.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field. Previous Business Development experience in the hospitality industry, demonstrating a proven track record of driving strategic growth and achieving targets. Extensive interpersonal skills.Regional experience and strong understanding of market dynamics. Proficiency in management agreement and franchise agreement contracts. Analytical skills for market research, trend analysis, and identifying opportunities.
