Job Description

About the Opportunity

This isn’t a job. It’s a launchpad. An established Chartered consultancy is creating a brand-new Project Management division — and they want a leader, not an employee, to build it. They’re looking for someone ambitious enough to take ownership, commercially sharp enough to grow it, and credible enough to win work at the highest level. If you’ve ever wanted to run your own division with the backing, brand, and infrastructure of an already successful business, this is that opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Project delivery & client strategy
  • Business development & pipeline growth
  • Hiring and building your own team
  • Financial performance & profitability
  • Operational systems & governance
  • Brand positioning and market presence

About You

You’re likely already operating at Associate Director / Director level within a consultancy and thinking: “I could build something better if I had the platform.” You’ll need:

  • 10+ years’ consultancy experience in Ireland
  • Strong client network and commercial instincts
  • Proven delivery of PM services on Irish projects
  • Leadership experience and team-building ability
  • Confidence managing fees, margins, and growth strategy
  • Chartership (SCSI / RICS) is advantageous, but mindset and track record matter more

Benefits

Salary up to €150,000
Equity potential
Bonus structure
Leadership position reporting to board level
Full autonomy to build your division
Backing of an established, respected consultancy

Why This Role Is Different

Most senior roles offer responsibility. Very few offer ownership. This is for someone who wants:

  • Strategic influence
  • Long-term upside
  • A legacy role
  • And the chance to say “I built that.”
If you’ve been waiting for the right platform to step into a true leadership role — this is it.
