Construction Project Director

About the Opportunity

At IPS, we are global leaders in developing innovative solutions for the consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction management, and CQV of technically complex facilities, primarily in the life sciences industry. We are looking for a dynamic Construction Project Director with an uncompromising commitment to safety and quality to join our Project Delivery and Construction team at a job site near Cork Ireland.

You’ll oversee multiple EPCMV Project Teams’ day-to-day execution within the Central region. Your focus will be on the support of EPCMV and CM services sales, overseeing the detailed execution of projects by teams from initiation to close out, development of staff, and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction project teams to deliver projects successfully - safely, on time, and on budget
• Guide project delivery teams in establishing goals and execution plans, and monitor performance
• Oversee development of contracts, subcontracts, estimates, and budgets
• Provide day-to-day direction of all project-specific Project Delivery group operations
• Develop new business, work on proposals and presentations, and help grow the company's presence in the Central region

About You

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline. 15+ years of experience in Project Delivery or related discipline, including leadership positions. Experience managing multi-million-dollar construction projects.

Eligibility

Experience in other areas of life sciences including construction of pharmaceutical and biotech facilities is preferred.
