Construction Project Director

About the Opportunity

At IPS, we are global leaders in developing innovative solutions for the consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction management, and CQV of technically complex facilities, primarily in the life sciences industry. We are looking for a dynamic Construction Project Director with an uncompromising commitment to safety and quality to join our Project Delivery and Construction team at a job site near Cork Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple EPCMV Project Teams’ day-to-day execution within the Central region
• Lead construction project teams to deliver projects successfully - safely, on time, and on budget
• Guide project delivery teams, establish goals and execution plans, and monitor performance
• Develop contracts, subcontracts, estimates, and budgets
• Provide day-to-day direction of all project-specific Project Delivery group operations
• Direct the change management process
• Lead hiring, training, and development of project delivery staff
• Develop new business and work on proposals and presentations
• Act as a secondary point of contact for PMs for clients
• Collaborate with preconstruction, project controls, procurement, quality, and safety

About You

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline. 15+ years of experience in Project Delivery or related discipline. Experience managing multi-million-dollar construction projects.

Eligibility

Experience in other areas of life sciences, including construction of pharmaceutical and biotech facilities.

Benefits

This position will have 25% travel. Overnight travel possible. Safety-sensitive position.
