About the Opportunity

A leading Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of upcoming projects in Cork. These span a variety of sectors including pharmaceutical, life sciences, food & beverage, and commercial. This is a long-term role offering strong career progression within a well-established company.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the on-site construction team, driving performance and project delivery.
• Plan works and ensure alignment with the contract programme and milestones.
• Maintain a strong focus on health & safety culture and compliance.
• Ensure quality assurance procedures are followed across all stages of the project.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Manage procurement and subcontractor appointments in line with project timelines.
• Support commercial teams to ensure cost control and forecasting.
• Attend and contribute to project progress and client meetings.
• Provide regular reporting on progress, risks, and key decisions.

Eligibility

Requirements:

• Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7+ years’ experience in managing large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
• Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage teams, stakeholders, and budgets effectively.
• Excellent knowledge of Irish building regulations and construction standards.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management tools.
