Customer Service and Logistics Development Manager

Are you passionate about supply chain transformation? Do you thrive on building capabilities that drive operational excellence? We’re seeking an experienced leader with a proven track record in logistics and customer service. As our Customer Service and Logistics Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain processes, enhancing customer satisfaction, and fostering innovation. You will have the opportunity to work and lead on our amazing transformation projects, linking up with our internal teams in order to build capability. This role will establish and monitor operational targets, including performance metrics such as logistics cost per kilogram, productivity savings targets, project deliverables, and logistics cost as a percentage of Gross Sales Value.

Based in our European Headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, you will report directly to our Customer Service & logistics Performance Director. This position will require leadership skills, leading and directing others within a project. This is a hybrid level role, with occasional travel to our sites during the duration of a project. The position offers some great benefits including an annual bonus, extra weeks’ pay in December, company car, share scheme plan, marketing leading pension, flexible working, 25 days holiday, with options to buy or sell further days! This is a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with our wider teams and present to our senior leaders, creating significant visibility within the organisation. Dependent on performance, there are development opportunities within the team, or within the wider supply chain team.

A Taste Of What You’ll Be Doing

* Improvement opportunities – Identifying opportunities for supply chain improvement, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
* Collaboration – Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, logistics, engineering and sales, to develop and execute integrated supply chain plans.
* Innovation focus – Drives innovation and digitalization initiatives within the supply chain function, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance operational capabilities.
* Kellanova Work Systems - Own and deploy the work program within the region, lead and coaching Kellanova work system experts, including regional centre of excellence leads and the Kellanova work system leader.
* Pipeline Management – Builds and sustains the Customer Service and Logistics productivity pipeline for future years.

We’re Looking for Someone With

* Proven experience within leading supply chain management functions, preferably in the FMCG industry, with a focus on logistics.
* Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, planning, production, planning, logistics and distribution
* Demonstrated ability to drive supply chain improvement initiatives, resulting in enhanced operational efficiency, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex data to inform decision making.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
