About the Opportunity

Location: Ashtown Gate, Navan Road, Dublin

Contract: Permanent - Full Time

Working Hours: 37 hours - Monday to Friday

Hybrid Working: We currently operate a hybrid working policy with a mix of working from the office and home.

About The Role

This role will be responsible for all aspects of developing solar farm projects as well as other forms of renewable technologies as the need arises.

You will be responsible for managing the project budget and leading the approval process for full investment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all planning studies including visuals, EIA and the management of consultants.
  • Effective external stakeholder management including landowners, politicians, planners, third party consultants and specialists, utilities, local authorities and other public bodies.
  • Responsible for resource assessments.
  • Responsible for obtaining planning consents and amendments.
  • Manage planning compliance pre-construction.
  • Commercial negotiation with stakeholders and project counterparties.
  • Responsible for risk and opportunity management and reporting on each project.

About You

Key Criteria What You'll Need:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in the area of Engineering, Environmental Science, Project Management or similar.
  • An in-depth knowledge and experience (5+ years) of the renewables industry including a thorough knowledge of technical and development work for renewable projects.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing multiple projects simultaneously, utilising large numbers of resources, including consultants and contractors.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Knowledge and experience of Solar Technology and its deployment in the field.
  • Management of projects through both development and construction phases.
  • Experience in management of community consultation and engagement.
