About the Opportunity

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced and strategic Project Director to lead and oversee digital projects for a specific client in Europe. The role involves managing the end-to-end delivery of complex digital projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and fostering a collaborative environment for project teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive digital project strategy
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of digital projects
• Manage cross-functional teams and ensure effective collaboration
• Act as a client side advisor and primary point of contact
• Develop and oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource management
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Evaluate project outcomes and processes for improvements

Qualifications

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in delivering complex digital projects
• At least 5 years in a leadership role
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM related subjects
• Hands-on experience in business intelligence, business analysis, digital strategy, and change management
• Proficient in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable Skills and Accreditations

• Microsoft certifications (e.g. Azure Data Engineer Associate)
• Experience with local security clearances to work with defence organisations
