Real Nation specialises in behavioural change across a diverse range of industries. Our dynamic Company consists of four major departments, namely Education, Events, Design & Experiential. We are at a very exciting and pivotal time in our history, which gives anyone joining our team huge potential to grow.

We are currently recruiting for a Director to lead Food Dudes Behaviour Change Programme and our team of 10+ regionally based Food Dudes Project Managers. Food Dudes is a WHO Award Winning Programme, which Real Nation has brought from pilot to full national rollout, with 98% of primary schools over the past 16 years. It is the national healthy eating programme for primary schools, which aims to increase children’s consumption of fruit and vegetables. The Food Dudes Director role is Permanent, and whilst we are open to certain flexible/hybrid working arrangements, a fortnightly presence in our Dublin based office would be required, as well as some nationwide travel and in-person training.

Full clean driving licence and own car essential.

* Superb attention to detail and high proficiency with Microsoft Excel
* Analytical and logistical thinking, solution orientated

* Ability to lead, mentor and motivate a team

Job responsibilities will include:

* Managing the team of 10+ office and regional based Food Dudes Project Managers and administration support team
* Reporting to and liaison with the Client & stakeholders (Bord Bia, Dept. of Agriculture, Bangor University, UCD, Teacher organisations and EU Commission)
* Day to day administration of the programme including stock orders, school recruitment and scheduling, planning and troubleshooting
* Collating and monitoring reports received from team of roving project managers
* Overseeing the ongoing support and training to schools participating in the programme, including visits at set times as required
* Strategic planning: ensuring the programme evolves in line with long term strategic objectives
* Developing evidence-based accompanying measures (communications, videos, website resources, etc)
* Ensuring robust research and evaluation processes are implemented
