ContextOur client requires expertise in project management and change management to lead the Kinaxis Advanced Planning System (APS) implementation. This project, which began in mid-2024, has seen significant progress with most interfaces completed and the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) configuration finalized. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is currently underway, and client aims to complete the project by the end of January. The current project manager will oversee the project until the conclusion of the UAT phase, after which you will take over. This is a major project, valued in the millions of euros, with several complex elements including export control regulations, cyber security, and the convergence of global supply chain planning processes. The project also involves a worldwide footprint, adding to its complexity.
What you will accomplishEnsure seamless transition and handover from the current project managerLead the project through UAT in June, to go-live and hypercare in Sept/Oct/NovMonitor project progress, identified risks, and implemented mitgaton strategies to keep projects on trackProvide regular project status updates to stakeholders and facilitated steering committee meetings to ensure project alignment with goalsDevelop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, and issue logs
