FTTH Build Coordinator

Job Description

FPG are recruiting a Network Build Coordinator/Supervisor to join our customer project, a major FTTH/Fiber Network rollout in the South half of Ireland.

Location: Can be located in either Dublin, Portlaoise or Limerick office

Working arrangements: Working in office 2/3 days per week, rest of time from home

Travel: Some travel to sites, but wont to be a lot and that regular, this will depend on the needs of the project.

As a Network Build Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in driving tangible construction output while maintaining a critical eye on progress.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee successful network build, adhering to program schedules.
* Manage deployment of Build Partner resources, escalating risks as needed.
* Maintain accurate workflow management progress updates.
* Ensure technical readiness for network completion prior to build.
* Coordinate stock availability ahead of build dates.
* Anticipate work instructions to meet Build Program plans, facilitating stakeholder updates.
* Mitigate specific build risks in advance (e.g., ESB proximity, engineering complexities).
* Ensure timely capital budget approvals and Purchase Order creation.
* Assist with month-end 'work in progress' spend accruals.
* Govern monthly contractor stock takes.
* Track build progress against forecasts and budgets.
* Maintain quality standards through liaison with independent Quality Audit teams.

Skills & Expertise:

* Meet monthly Build targets aligned with the program.
* Utilize smart dashboard progress reporting.
* Drive corrective action when program risks arise.
* Track Build Partner resources on a weekly basis.
* Monitor build progress using Business Intelligence data.
* Participate in regular progress meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
* Understand construction cost and efficiency implications during program deviations.

The Ideal Candidate:

* Methodical organizer with strong task prioritization skills.
* Articulate communicator with a positive and creative mindset.
* Proven problem solver with visionary capabilities.
* Minimum 5 years of construction organizational experience, preferably in Telecoms.
* Decision-making based on factual rationalization.
* Possess a full and clean driving license.
* Experienced in contractor liaison and supervision.
* Computer literate, preferably with Microsoft Office proficiency.
* Effective and accountable self-motivated remote worker.
