Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead and grow our client's operations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of a wholesale business, a proven track record in leadership, and a passion for renewable energy. As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the business, from strategic planning and sales growth to operational efficiency and team development. You will report directly to the board.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement business strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets.
* Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and productivity across all departments.
* Drive sales initiatives and marketing campaigns to expand market share and increase customer engagement.
* Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of professionals to achieve individual and company goals.
* Manage budgets, financial performance, and reporting to ensure fiscal health and sustainability.
* Foster strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
* Promote continuous improvement and innovation in products, services, and processes to maintain competitive advantage.
* Build a team, and set KPIs for individuals.
* Manage inventory, cashflow, P&L and an overall business plan.
* Meeting with customers, pitching, holding presentations and attending industry events.

Qualifications

* Minimum of 5 years in a senior management role working for a wholesaler of electrical products or ideally solar products.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams with a strong focus on performance and results.
* Deep understanding of the solar market, including product knowledge and emerging trends.
* Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proactive and strategic thinker with the ability to solve complex problems and make informed decisions.
* A strong commitment to sustainability and renewable energy solutions.
