The Client:

Our client is a pioneering global owner and operator of solar energy projects with operations spanning the US, the UK, Europe, and Australia. The company has been at the forefront of the renewable energy sector since 2007.

Location: Dublin (Hybrid)

The Role:

The Investment & Financing Manager will be responsible for managing the financing and investment strategy for a portfolio of solar and storage projects across multiple jurisdictions. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, this dynamic role requires interfacing with executive management, investors, and various international financial institutions. The successful candidate will lead negotiations, manage due diligence, and optimize the capital structure of assets to maximize value. International travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the investment case for a portfolio of solar and storage projects, ensuring value maximization.
* Lead debt and equity financing transactions, including negotiations, due diligence, and financial modelling.
* Optimize capital structures by working with existing capital providers and stakeholders.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with financing parties, including tax equity investors, lenders, and project investors.
* Conduct detailed financial analysis to evaluate and execute preferred financing options.
* Support corporate finance activities, including raising and managing corporate debt facilities and investor relations.
* Collaborate with strategic investors and present financial materials effectively.

Requirements & Qualifications:

* Accountant or CFA designation with a minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate/project finance within infrastructure or renewable energy sectors.
* Strong financial modeling skills with the ability to analyze deals from an equity perspective.
* Experience in managing M&A processes and leading complex financial transactions.
* Excellent relationship management skills and ability to work with international financial institutions.
* Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
