Post Summary

The LEVERS Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of the goals and objectives of the LEVERS project in conjunction with the Principal Investigator, based in the School of Education (Science and Society Research Group), and the 10 other European partners. The LEVERS project is a 36-month Horizon Europe funded project (under the Coordination and Support Actions) with a budget of €1.5M from the European Commission, and a total combined budget of €2.4M including funding from UKRI and SERI. LEVERS is focused on innovation in learning for sustainability and climate action in Europe, with a particular emphasis on the local integration of schools, communities and lifelong learning. The Project Manager will be based in the School of Education and will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the project at a European level, including but not limited to: report writing and financial management, public relations development and communications management.

Post status: Specific Purpose Contract

Hours of Post: 17.5 Hours per week, Part-Time (0.5 FTE)

Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 2 Salary Scale (€54,096 - €63,562 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)

1. Project and/or Financial Management Experience – The applicant should clearly address how their experience would be relevant to managing a large multi-national and multi-disciplinary project which has a budget of €2.4 million euros, and how they developed this knowledge.
2. An understanding of the EU Framework programmes - The applicant should demonstrate awareness of, or involvement with, these programmes and how this would position them to successfully manage this project.
