However, an Irish based company with offices globally are delivering sustainable data using low impact robotics to map the seabed and monitor the environment. Their business is data, and their technology drives the efficient and effective collection of this data. As they continue to develop their capabilities to expand and improve the scope of services they provide to their customers, major engineering developments must be delivered effectively into their commercial operations. This role will be responsible for ensuring that a robust and mature product is delivered to the Operations team ensuring a seamless entry into service. Job Responsibilities:
* Leading the definition of requirements for Major Projects identified in the Company Technology Roadmap.
* Developing business cases for major projects.
* Support the Chief Technology Officer in the execution of capability, efficiency, and reliability enhancements across the fleet.
* Providing the link between internal and external customers and the design team to ensure that the final design meets the needs of the Company.
* Ownership of the Risk Assessment for the projects, including initial risk assessment sessions and maintenance of the project risk register.
* Identifying and developing the operational processes and procedures required to support the entry into service of the initiative. Overseeing the transition to operations, including training and qualifications in key roles.
* Ownership of the overall schedule and budget for major projects, taking input from other areas of the business where appropriate.
* Creating and tracking a schedule and budget for activities on major projects and managing adherence to both.
* Manage test operations, including test plans, Method Statements, logistics and execution. Experience Required:
* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
* Further Project Management qualification and/or experience.
* Previous experience in the Marine environment, either professionally or otherwise
