Mechanical Project Manager

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field; or a Senior Trades qualification with equivalent experience.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role, specifically within the M&E Building Services Industry.
* Proven track record in delivering small to medium-sized mechanical projects in sectors such as Commercial, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, or Data Centres.
* Experience in pre-commissioning and system turnover, with a strong understanding of HVAC and building services.
* Commercial awareness and a good understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental systems and procedures.
* Excellent multi-tasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of attention to detail and good commercial acumen.
* Proficiency in computer literacy, with the ability to use project management and office software effectively.
* IOSH Managing Safely or CITB SMSTS certification is required.
* Experience in estimating is an advantage.

As a Mechanical Project Manager

* Develop and implement a training plan for staff and operatives specific to the project site in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
* Manage the site team to ensure effective day-to-day operations, including compliance with project schedules, material deliveries, engineering standards, quality controls, and safety protocols.
* Attend meetings with clients to discuss project progress and address any concerns.
* Lead weekly progress meetings with sub-contractors, ensuring that safety, training, and productivity are regularly reviewed.
* Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor to maintain effective cost and sales control, providing timely updates to the client on the sales plan.
* Monitor and measure productivity at the work face on a weekly basis, ensuring that project progress is maintained and controlled.
* Prepare and submit monthly internal reports to the Operations Manager.
* Participate in monthly project manager meetings to review project progress and share insights.
* Continuously develop your skills in line with the agreed training plan and contribute ideas for the continuous improvement of company processes.
* Maintain regular contact with clients, ensuring strong relationships are built and sustained from project inception to completion.
* Ensure all project documentation is completed, reviewed, and filed according to company standards.

The Package

Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least of €60000+ and rewards & benefits.
