Role : Pharma Project ManagerLocation : Italy (preferred)/Europe
Manage the design, deployment, and delivery of projects of medium complexity (determined by budget, timeline, and stakeholder), providing IT solutions that meet business requirementsDirect project teams (externals) and maintain control of progress, quality, and budget to meet the desired business objectivesSetup and run all project related meetings and maintain the record of actions, decisions, issues, risks and act the primary point of contact for all project related escalationsEnsure a smooth transition to operations and the optimal planning and execution of all activities associated with a release.Manage diverse set of senior stakeholders in the organization by effectively displaying the excellence in soft skillsExecute innovative, impactful, cost effective, and measurable programs, tightly aligned to business objectives.Customer focus: building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutionsOptimizes work process: knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvementCollaborates: building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectivesEnsure effective use of resources and project management methods, tools and practicesDeliver projects on time and within budget and to meet the desired business objectives.Alternatively, may support the provision of services that contribute to managing the enterprise IT project portfolio, including development and implementation of project management standards and training, portfolio reporting and analytics, project management resourcing services, etc.Provide transparent and accurate project reporting including overall performance of the project and project documentation completionOwn project status, issues and risks through appropriate channels / tools and ensures that these are reported back to agreed project governance (e.g., Steering Committee) with focus on required actions, ownership, and risk management.Accountable to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Project Management service scopeCollaborate effectively with other teams, DDIT Functions and Domains in the organization, as well as strategic suppliers providing services to the projectExpertise in supporting Head of Business & Operations in creating the strategic plan and then driving the same towards implementation ExperienceExperience in IT Project ManagementPrior experience in delivering GxP solutions within Research and Development IT landscape is desirableKnowledge of development operations systems (Analytic & Manufacturing), drug manufacturing, processes and tools is desirableAbility to work and collaborate in matrixed teams to deliver projects with interdependencies like integration componentsExperience using various project management methodologiesStrong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsCapability to help the Program lead / Portfolio lead to structure plan, estimate, deliver, deploy and operate the project as requiredProven capacity to respond to changes which impact the project, deal with uncertainty and proactively problem solve to deliver the best possible outcomeUnderstanding of ITIL Processes: Familiarity with ITIL processes such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Level Management. Technical skills that are most preferredServiceNow: Familiarity Project Management, Resource and Capacity ManagementExcel: Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting.PowerPoint: Ability to create effective PowerPoint presentations for project updates and stakeholder communication.
