Project Co-ordinator

Job Description

Our Client, a large architectural practice based in Dublin, requires a project co-ordinator to manage their BCAR process across multiple sites. Previous experience with the BCAR process is not required, but experience managing multiple projects and ensuring adherence to industry regulations is a must. This role is central to the proper functioning of projects within the business, and may grow into a larger role.

Candidates will get the opportunity to work across multiple teams, to have a say on process improvements and implement new ideas.

Salary: €36-44k DOE

Benefits: Bonus, WFH, Flexible Hours, Hybrid working (2 days in office)

Duties include:

• Control and maintenance of the project BCAR folders

• Calendar management for the regularly scheduled BCAR meetings throughout the course of each project and maintaining each project’s email distribution list

• Issuing of all AC documentation such as meeting minutes; AC inspection reports and updates to

the Supporting Document List

• Managing and maintaining the Supporting Document List for each project and engagement with

the ancillary certifiers to confirm their specific supporting documentation requirements; liaising

with the builder to ensure agreement and collection of the documentation

• Reviewing new developing technologies to assist the document control process

• Proofing, editing, and formatting of individual documents and templates

• Assisting with CPD (continuing professional development) modules for the BCAR process to

present to the wider firm, including assembling PowerPoint presentations

• Editing and issuing inspection reports / BCAR meeting minutes on behalf of the assigned certifier

• Preparing, collating, and uploading documents onto the local authority BCMS (Building Control

Management System) and liaising with statutory bodies to ensure documentation is signed and

roles accepted

• Liaising with Building Control offices (local authorities) as required

• Maintaining and monitoring project trackers/diary to allow for appropriate management of

timelines and resources and providing regular status updates to the directors as necessary

• Liaising with and pursuing consultants and builders for documentation. The management of the documents, inspections and submissions requires continual work. Standard

documents will require updating and reviewing on a regular basis as the process evolves in the industry.
