Project Director (Associate Director) – Rail

About the Opportunity

As a Project Director at WSP in the PMCM Rail team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of large, complex rail projects of regional, national, and international significance.

Responsibilities

• Leading and delivering on specific large complex projects or programmes
• Implementing governance frameworks, controls, and reporting mechanisms
• Managing Client relationships and stakeholder engagement
• Accountability for contracts and project budgets
• Driving safety performance and compliance
• Facilitating project/programme planning and reviews
• Driving innovative solutions and efficiency improvements

About You

To be successful in this role, we'll be looking for you to demonstrate:

• A degree in a relevant engineering or management discipline
• Chartered membership of a relevant professional body
• Experience in project/programme management
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Understanding of NEC 3/4 contracts
