Construction Project Manager - Ireland - Hybrid - PV Projects

My client is an electricity producer and service provider including Development, EPC, O&M, and Distribution from wind, solar, hydro, biomass, and storage. With a global presence in 20 countries, they can offer global operating capacity to their clients.

Their EPC branch is seeking an experienced Project Manager to bolster their construction projects in Ireland on their PV projects that are between 75MW-140MW. These roles may be stationed in various locations such as Dublin, Galway, or Longford regions.

Responsibilities:

* Participate in the assessment of the project with the sales team and other project managers
* Define the project's requirements needed
* Visiting the various sites and preparing quotations to establish the budget
* Identify technical specifications for contracts in coordination with the engineering department
* Coordinate the design of plans based on defined specifications
* Participate in the procurement process in coordination with the procurement department,
* Prepare quotations to establish the budget with EPC executive and define the timelines for each phase of the projects
* Monitor and ensure work follows the technical and contractual specifications, standards, regulations, and QHSE rules
* Prepare progress reports for project reviews and control the schedule of subcontractor interventions
* Supervise the construction work carried out by the team and contractors

Requirements:

* Engineering degree (Electrical engineering background or Civil enigneering or Mechanical engineering background)
* 5+ years of experience in construction project management;
* Good knowledge in solar, wind, hydro, and/or battery energy storage systems
* In-depth knowledge of industrial project construction or the energy sector in Ireland
* In-depth knowledge of hygiene and safety regulations
* Willingness to travel to the different sites 2/3 days a week around Ireland
* Driver's license.
* Strong interpersonal and management skills
