Responsibilities:

Team Management:

• Supervise and mentor a team of automation engineers, technicians, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

• Set clear goals and expectations for team members, providing regular feedback and support to facilitate their professional growth and development.

• Coordinate with other department managers to ensure seamless integration of automation initiatives with overall business objectives.

1. Project Leadership:

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of automation projects, from initial concept through to implementation and validation, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, communicating project status updates, risks, and recommendations in a clear and timely manner.

• Implement robust project management methodologies to mitigate risks and optimize project delivery efficiency.

2. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Collaborate with quality assurance and regulatory affairs teams to ensure that automation systems meet all relevant industry regulations and standards, including FDA guidelines and GxP requirements.

• Develop and maintain documentation related to automation processes, procedures, and validation protocols to support regulatory inspections and audits.

3. Continuous Improvement:

• Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the automation team, encouraging innovation and the pursuit of operational excellence.

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains, implementing solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

• 5-7 years of experience in automation, with a focus on the Life Sciences industry.

• 3-4 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role, demonstrating strong leadership and team-building skills. And knowledge of GAMP/ GXP

• Proven track record of successfully leading automation projects from concept to completion, preferably in a regulated environment.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Required to lead and manage a team members.
